More unique would be for corn maze creation. That's right, a business owner in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley recently installed a corn maze to attract business to his farm. When asked what materials were required to create such a thing, he answered, "a tractor and a handheld GPS."
Perhaps the most inspirational use is as an aid to the blind. Talking handheld GPS systems like those offered by the Sendero Group are already being used to augment the white cane and seeing eye dog the rest of us are so familiar with, the traditional tools help in navigating obstacles but the GPS bridges the gap to actually locating the door, elevator, etc being sought out.
